About Us

Movement Matters Pediatric Therapy Center opened its doors in 2000 with the goal to provide the highest quality care to patients in a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. Our executive director Alice Chiu formed a dedicated staff to help strengthen patients and lead them through their recovery while treating everyone like family. This feel-at-home environment extends throughout the facility with the staff’s friendly and approachable personalities and patient interaction.

We pride ourselves not only on the state-of-the-art treatment sessions and our expert team of more than 20 therapists, but also on everyone’s level of commitment with their patients. Respecting the uniqueness and value of each individual, our mission is to advance occupation-based and holistic practices into the community where people live, work, and play. Each individual patient’s goals are always our priority.

As a member of Chinese American Independent Practice Association (CAIPA), we work together with doctors and specialists to implement cutting edge therapy treatment to patients who demand high quality health care. Movement Matters is an approved teaching facility for therapy department of many universities around the northeast.
